Important Installation Notes:

• The antenna mast is detachable for convenience during car washes or when navigating low-clearance areas.
• Not suitable as a replacement for "bee-sting" aerials that require integrated GSM or GPS functions.
• Must be mounted on a sealed panel; the underside of the base must not be exposed to the elements.
• The 5m DAB+ / AM/FM cables are permanently attached to the base unit.

• Will this work with my aftermarket radio?
  Yes. This antenna uses a standard DIN connector for AM/FM and an SMB (Female) connector for DAB+, which is the standard for most aftermarket units (RetroSound, Continental, Blaupunkt, Kenwood, Alpine, JVC, Pioneer, etc.).
• Do I need an additional signal booster?
  No. This unit has a high-performance amplifier built-in, designed specifically to improve reception in fringe DAB+ and AM/FM areas across Australia.
• Can I use this on a fibreglass or plastic roof?
  While it can be mounted, for the best reception, the base needs to be in contact with a metal surface to act as a "ground plane." If mounting on fibreglass, you may need to install a small metal plate on the underside.
• Is the mast flexible for off-roading?
  The mast is sturdy but can be easily unscrewed by hand if you are entering a low-clearance garage or driving through heavy scrub/low-hanging trees.
• Does this replace my GPS/Navigation antenna?
  No. This antenna is dedicated to DAB+, AM, and FM radio only. It does not support GPS or GSM (mobile phone) signals.
