DAB+ / FM / AM Premium Active Splitter with Phantom Power
Unlock the world of digital radio (DAB or DAB+) with our advanced active splitter, featuring a phantom power option. This cutting-edge device seamlessly integrates DAB/DAB+ reception with your vehicle's existing FM antenna.
Key Benefits & Technology:
- Versatile Compatibility: Works with both passive AM / FM antennas to generate a DAB/DAB+ signal, or with active AM / FM antennas (provided the active antenna isn't specifically filtered to only pass FM frequencies). Generally, the older your vehicle, the more effective this splitter will be at generating a strong DAB+ radio signal.
- Superior Signal Quality: We've engineered this splitter with two independent amplifiers, one for each radio band. This unique design ensures excellent signal-to-noise ratios and a linear frequency response, delivering a pristine audio experience.
- Integrated Phantom Power: A stand out feature! This active splitter includes a switchable phantom power output. This means it can directly supply 12V DC power through the antenna cable to connected active antennas, eliminating the need for a separate phantom adapter.

Installation Notes (these are examples, variations can occur):
Original rear roof antennas are usually active antennas with a built-in amplifier. These amplifiers are usually powered by phantom power from the car radio. Installing a splitter interrupts this power supply. Therefore, the switch must be set to the "Switch On" position.
Original front roof antennas are usually passive antennas without a built-in amplifier. Therefore, the switch must be switched to the "Switch Off" position.
Notes on other antenna types:
- Extendable rod antennas, fixed rod aerials, motorised antennas, and rubber whip antennas are generally passive without amplifiers.
- Original rear antennas, e.g., roof antennas, are generally active antennas with phantom power.
- Retrofitted rear antennas, e.g., roof antennas, generally have a separate power supply, usually recognisable by a red cable
