A pair of especially solid, high-end speaker binding posts from Monacor. They have a heavyweight polished gold plated body, and are designed for wooden cabinets up to 25mm thick and for insulated mounting in metal housings. They are colour coded, with one red and one black post, and accept bare wire, forked terminals and 4mm banana plugs, so you can connect speaker cable in whichever way suits your system.

Installation Tips:

• Check the panel thickness before ordering. The maximum is 25mm.
• The posts have an M10x1 mounting thread, so drill the panel hole to suit a 10mm stem and test fit before fitting both.
• Match red to positive and black to negative when wiring your speaker.
• The rear of each post has an M4 internal thread for connecting your internal wiring.
• When mounting in a metal housing, make sure the posts are insulated from the metal panel.
• Allow room behind the panel for the rear of the post and your wiring.
• Allow room for the 25mm cap diameter when you plan the spacing between the two posts.
• Tighten firmly, but do not over-tighten, so the panel or plating is not damaged.
