Description:

A pair of particularly solid, high-end gold plated speaker binding posts from Monacor, with a long stem for thick cabinet panels. They suit wooden cabinets up to 27mm thick, and can be screwed down or plugged into with 4mm banana plugs. They are colour coded, with one red and one black post, and accept bare wire up to 8mm as well as forked terminals. Please note these binding posts are not insulated.

Installation Tips:

• Check the panel thickness before ordering. The maximum is 27mm.
• The posts have an M7 mounting thread, so drill the panel hole to suit a 7mm stem and test fit before fitting both.
• These posts are not insulated, so mount them in wood or plastic. Do not mount them directly in a metal panel unless you add your own insulation.
• Match red to positive and black to negative when wiring your speaker.
• Allow room behind the panel for the rear thread, nuts and your wiring.
• Allow room for the 18mm cap diameter when you plan the spacing between the two posts.
• Tighten firmly, but do not over-tighten, so the panel or plating is not damaged.
