Description

This gasket from Visaton is made for the watertight mounting of the FR16WP, a waterproof, saltwater resistant 16 cm (6.5 inch) full-range speaker. Fitted between the speaker and the mounting surface, it helps stop water working its way in along the edge of the speaker, giving you a cleaner and better protected installation in outdoor, marine and damp locations. Other uses may be possible, so please check sizing to ensure fit.

Installation Notes:

• Mount the gasket on a clean, flat and smooth surface so it can seal evenly all the way around.
• Tighten the fixings evenly so the gasket is compressed uniformly. Do not over-tighten.
• The gasket seals the mounting surface only, so also make sure the rear of the speaker and the cable entry are protected from water.
