Description

This gasket from Visaton is made for the watertight mounting of the FR13WP, a waterproof, saltwater resistant 13 cm (5 inch) full-range speaker. Fitted between the speaker and the mounting surface, it helps stop water working its way in along the edge of the speaker, giving you a cleaner and better protected installation in outdoor, marine and damp locations. It can also be used for other applications where its size suits.

Installation Notes:

• Mount the gasket on a clean, flat and smooth surface so it can seal evenly all the way around.
• Tighten the fixings evenly so the gasket is compressed uniformly. Do not over-tighten.
• The gasket seals the mounting surface only, so also make sure the rear of the speaker and the cable entry are protected from water.

This gasket is designed for the FR 13 WP, but it can also be used for other applications. Please check that the dimensions suit your installation before ordering.
