Installation Notes

• Mounting location: Ensure adequate clearance behind the mounting surface for the 22 mm base diameter and internal cable routing prior to drilling.
• Hole preparation: Drill a clean 9 mm hole. Treat any raw sheet metal edges with a suitable rust inhibitor before final assembly.
• Sealing & cable protection: Fit the included rubber grommet to shield the cable against sharp metal edges and prevent moisture from entering the cabin or cavity.
• Angle adjustment: Set the desired mast angle (adjustable from 0° to 180°) and securely tighten the side lock screw on the chrome ball before use.
• Cable routing: Route the 2.5 m antenna cable away from major electrical looms or ignition wiring to minimise potential RF noise and interference.
• DAB+ usage: To feed a DAB+ digital tuner, connect the DIN plug to a passive AM / FM / DAB+ antenna splitter (sold separately).
• Professional installation recommended.
