Description:

A pair of high quality, robust gold plated speaker binding posts from Monacor, designed for mounting directly in wooden speaker cabinets up to 33mm thick. They have a polished gold plated body with a knurled clamping screw, and the first part of the stem is fluted to stop the post turning in the panel. They are colour coded, with one red and one black post, and accept bare wire, forked terminals and 4mm banana plugs.

Installation Tips:

• Check the panel thickness before ordering. The maximum is 33mm.
• The posts have an M5 thread, so drill the panel hole to suit M5 and test fit before fitting both.
• The fluted section of the stem is designed to grip the wood, so it should be a snug fit in the panel.
• Match red to positive and black to negative when wiring your speaker.
• Allow 65mm behind the panel for the long stem and your wiring.
• These posts are designed for wooden cabinets. If you are considering a metal panel, please check with us first.
• Tighten firmly, but do not over-tighten, so the panel or plating is not damaged.
