Description:

A pair of robust, gold plated speaker binding posts from Monacor, designed for insulated mounting on metal or plastic panels up to 6mm thick. They have a polished gold plated body with a knurled clamping screw, and are supplied with insulating washers so they can be fitted straight into a metal housing. They are colour coded, with one red and one black post, and accept bare wire, forked terminals and 4mm banana plugs.

Installation Tips:

• Check the panel thickness before ordering. The maximum is 6mm.
• The posts have an M5 thread, so drill the panel hole to suit M5 and test fit before fitting both.
• Match red to positive and black to negative when wiring your speaker.
• When mounting in a metal panel, fit the insulating washers so the posts do not touch the metal.
• Allow 36mm behind the panel for the post and your wiring.
• Tighten firmly, but do not over-tighten, so the panel or plating is not damaged.
