Vehicle & System Compatibility

Compatible Systems & Models:

• Audi: 2004 - 2009 Audi MMI 2G High systems equipped with Audi Music Interface (AMI) in the glovebox or centre console (including Audi A4, A5, A6, A8, and Q7 models).
• Volkswagen & Skoda: Select 2004 - 2009 models equipped with MMI 2G compatible Media-In (MDI) or AMI ports.

Incompatible Systems (Do NOT Use With):

• Audi, VW or Skoda MMI 3G & 3G+ Exclusions: Not compatible with 2009 - 2020 Audi MMI 3G, MMI 3G+, Concert, or Symphony radios (requires the Invery Airdual 300A, see below).
• Audi, VW or Skoda Navigation Plus Exclusions: Not compatible with Audi Navigation Plus (RNS-E) units without factory 2G AMI.

First Time Use & Setup Guidelines

• If on first-time use you encounter an error such as "Cannot read from connected device...", the reason is once the Audi MMI 2G connector is powered on, it must connect to the external device and receive signals within 5 seconds. If it exceeds 5 seconds, the error may occur. This is the car system ignoring the device if nothing is received.
• Step 1: Plug the Airdual Audi2G adaptor directly into the factory AMI / MDI socket located inside the glovebox or centre console.
• Step 2: Turn on the vehicle ignition and select the "AMI" or "Media" source on your original head unit display.
• Step 3: Open Bluetooth settings on your smartphone, search for "Airdual-Audi2G" and select it to pair.
• Step 4: Play audio from your device. For Apple iPhone users, ensure at least one song is saved/downloaded in the native Apple Music app to enable head unit display integration.
• Tip: After first-time setup, please ensure your phone's Bluetooth is turned on before starting your car so it connects straight away.
