Installation & Wiring Tips:
- Inline Connection: Remove the radio head unit and plug the existing vehicle aerial cable into the booster socket, then plug the booster plug directly into the rear antenna port of the radio.
- 12V Power Wiring: Connect the red power wire to the electric antenna trigger wire (usually blue, remote output) from the radio harness. If unavailable, connect to an ignition-switched ACC +12V power source using the supplied quick splice clips.
- Secure Mounting: Clean the mounting surface before applying the included double-sided adhesive pad to attach the module securely behind the dash.
- Power Verification: Turn the ignition switch on to verify that the power LED illuminates, confirming active power delivery before refitting the head unit.
- Grounding Note: Chassis ground return (0V) is automatically established through the outer shield of the aerial coaxial connectors once plugged into the radio.

Important System Caveats & Disclaimers:
- Signal Quality Dependence: A booster amplifies whatever signal is captured by the vehicle aerial. If the aerial cable is damaged, ungrounded, or picking up severe electrical engine noise, those unwanted signals and interference will also be amplified.
- Existing Active Aerials: Not recommended for vehicles already fitted with factory-amplified aerials (such as amplified glass-print or roof-fin antennas), as double-amplification can overdrive the radio tuner and distort strong local signals.
- Urban Reception: Car radios equipped with Automatic Gain Control (AGC) reduce incoming signal strength automatically in urban areas with strong broadcast towers; a booster will show minimal difference in strong signal zones.
