This is the loading drive clutch assembly, it will ratchet when there is a blockage to help protect the mechanism. It is part of the automatic cassette loading system in the mechanism from Becker that came out in the late 1980's. Suits 1435, 1403, 1402, 830, 831, 837, 839, 780, 1400 and many more. Some technical ability is required!
