Visaton ST 77 Round Speaker Terminal with Gold-Plated Binding Posts
    Art. No. 5183

    Overview
The Visaton ST-77 is a flush-mounting round speaker cup designed for DIY loudspeaker projects, custom cabinet builds, and speaker repairs. Equipped with robust, gold-plated screw-type binding posts, it ensures high conductivity, corrosion resistance, and low signal loss. The rear of the cup includes two integrated mounting flanges designed to directly hold a crossover printed circuit board (PCB), making internal wiring neat and straightforward, otherwise you can directly connect wires to the rear of the terminals.

    Key Features

    • Gold-plated metal binding posts for optimal signal transfer and durability
    • Accepts bare speaker wire, spade connectors, or standard 4 mm banana plugs
    • Integrated rear mounting flanges to secure a crossover PCB directly to the terminal cup
    • Flush-mount recessed round profile for a clean, professional enclosure finish
    • High-impact, durable plastic construction

    Technical Specifications

    • Cutout Diameter: 78 mm
    • Terminal Type: Round recessed cup
    • Connectors: Gold-plated screw-terminal five-way binding posts
    • Internal Mounting: PCB mounting flanges included

    Application & Installation Notes

    • Cabinet Mounting: Requires a standard 78 mm circular cutout in the rear speaker panel. Secure the cup using wood screws around the outer rim.
    • Direct Wiring (Standard Setup): For standard builds without a PCB, simply solder or use crimps on your internal speaker wire directly to the rear solder tabs on the back of the binding posts before securing the cup to the cabinet.
    • Connection Flexibility: The front binding posts allow easy hookup of external speaker cable via banana plugs or clamped bare wire.
    • PCB Integration: Internal crossover networks can be mounted directly to the rear flanges on the back of the terminal cup, eliminating loose internal wiring and streamlining assembly.
