Hirschmann AUTA 6000EL and 6000KE^* Automatic Antenna Repair Kit Parts

To suit the electric aerials often fitted to BMW, Mercedes-Benz and a few Jaguars, models Hirschmann AUTA 6000EL and 6000KE^*.

Kit Contains:

• Toothed drive belt
• Tension pressure pinch roller
• Roller shaft pin
• Roller cover
• Cylinder drum (where the drive cable collects)
• Main centre assembly pin

^*Note: for the 6000KE, the belt only fits the early versions with the belt length adjustment on the motor; suits all 6000EL versions. If unsure, please contact us with photos of the motor assembly drive gear area.

Installation & Repair Tips:

• Take clear photos of the housing interior and gear arrangement before disassembling any components - this makes reassembly much easier.
• Thoroughly clean out all old hardened grease, dirt and any broken teeth fragments from inside the housing track prior to installing new parts.
• Apply a thin layer of plastic-safe grease (such as white lithium or silicone grease) to gears and sliding surfaces - avoid over-greasing.
• Inspect the mast drive cable for missing or damaged teeth before feeding it into the new cylinder drum.
• Manually rotate the gear mechanism by hand after reassembly to confirm smooth movement before reconnecting motor power.
