This FAKRA to DIN aerial adaptor kit allows you to seamlessly integrate in-line devices - such as FM modulators, DAB+ tuners, or audio integration modules - into your vehicle antenna system without cutting or altering original factory coaxial cables. It is also ideal when replacing or fitting aftermarket head units and car radios that require conversion between FAKRA and standard DIN antenna connections.

Compatibility & Suitability Checks

Before purchasing or installing, please perform the following checks to confirm suitability for your application:

• Connector Visual Check: Inspect the rear of your factory head unit and existing antenna cable to verify they use FAKRA (plastic latching housing) and standard DIN (long cylindrical metal plug) connections.

• Aerial Power Requirement: This adaptor kit provides passive signal passthrough. If your vehicle antenna system requires a 12V phantom power feed for an active aerial amplifier, an additional phantom power injector may be required. If phantom power is already supplied from the device, this will pass through the adaptor cables.

• Space Constraints: Ensure there is adequate clearance behind the dashboard to route the adaptor cables without sharp bends or pinching.
