Suitability

This 16 AWG cable is suitable for car audio, marine, and home theatre installations. It is recommended for running dash speakers, door speakers, and rear deck speakers powered directly from a factory or aftermarket head unit, or an external amplifier delivering up to 100 Watts RMS per channel.

How to Use

Measure the required length from your head unit or amplifier to each speaker location, allowing a small amount of slack for routing, or if possible, run the amount directly from the roll through the vehicle. Cut the cable using wire cutters and strip back approximately 10 mm of PVC insulation from each conductor. Identify the positive indicator marked on the wire sheath and attach it to the positive (+) terminal on both the audio source and speaker. Connect the remaining conductor to the negative (-) terminals. Terminate the ends using solder, crimp connectors, or direct screw terminal clamping.
