Mercedes AGW Audio Gateway 5m Harness Extension Cable Kit DVN-CABE

The DVN CAB E extension harness and the antenna cable makes it easy to retrofit a new head unit to Benz vehicles fitted with the Audio Gateway (AGW) where the AGW needs to be bypassed, such as when water damaged or other faults. Retention of the OEM subwoofers (if equipped) can also be accomplished for the lower powered sub, or using a separate amp for high-powered subs - you may want to run RCA cables at the same time if you are using a high power subwoofer.

Harness includes a FAKRA antenna cable extension, antenna remote cable trigger wire, CANBUS connector (for front connection, CANBUS interface not included), and subwoofer connections for the vehicle's optional factory subwoofer. This harness extension kit is used to retrofit vehicles already with an OEM Mercedes Audio Gateway to a universal aftermarket head unit without using a MOST fibre optic interface.

Usually it is best to use a MOST adaptor, but where it is not possible, such as when the factory AGW Audio gate Way is faulty, this cable can be used.

• Standard AGW plugs fitted, simply plug into the existing wiring to bypass the Audio Gateway (AGW).
• Always check if there is an OEM MOST Sound System installed in the vehicle before placing your order!
• Not compatible with the OEM Mercedes Harman Kardon (MOST) or Bose (D2B) Sound System.
• The extension cable has standard Benz QUAD-Lock plugs, you may need to use an adaptor or hardwire to the new radio.
