The Iron Audio Acrylic Platter is the ultimate upgrade for Rega turntable owners. Replace the stock glass platter and hear the level of musicality, detail and dynamics increase! The perfectly balanced acrylic platter provides tighter, deeper and more accurate sound reproduction. The highs are cleaned up and resonances at higher frequencies are virtually eliminated. The high quality platter is CNC machined to the highest tolerances and finished with a frosted top and bottom with a clear polished edge. The Iron Audio logo is elegantly machined underneath.

The platter's overall thickness is 16mm and the diameter is the same as the original factory one, however the Iron Audio acrylic platter is thicker than the stock platter. An inner recessed area for the sub-platter precisely matches the standard 13mm platter's height, which means no adjustments from the factory-set VTA are necessary; however if you have the 12mm or 15mm factory platter, then adjustment will be needed, check with us for details first. Otherwise, simply replace the stock 13mm platter with the Iron Audio platter and you are ready to enjoy more realistic, precise and shaper sounding music. The platter is designed to be used with the OEM mat and is made in the USA.
