A concealed or hidden radio is the perfect choice for you if you don't want to actually see the radio in your car and still have the benefits of a modern radio and all its features. Perhaps you are looking to replace an old radio but don't want all the flashing lights and shiny panels in your subdued dashboard. This means you can keep the existing or original radio, even if it doesn't work! It allows you to update your radio without changing the look and feel of the original car, or cutting new holes in the dash when you really don't want to do that! This unit is an AM / FM stereo with a remote control, plus it has a USB MP3 / WMA flash drive player and an iPod dock connector for direct control via the interface built into the tuner / amplifier unit.

You can use this radio almost any vehicle, new, old or vintage! This includes most foreign and domestic vehicles, especially classic cars from the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's etc. as well as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Ferrari etc. Also good for upgrading new car radios that don't have the features you want.

How it works:

The main tuner / amplifier unit is usually hidden under a seat, inside the glove box or behind the dash. A 3m cord from the tuner / amp plugs into a LCD display. The system can be operated with the included RF (radio frequency remote.), it does not need line of sight like IR (infra-red) remotes do. Included with the system is a flush mount bezel for console or dash mounting. The small dimensions of the flush mount system allow you to install the LCD display almost anywhere. The LCD also comes with a bracket mount for easy installation in the glove box, under the dash, in the ashtray, sun visor, console, or wherever you choose! Since its only about 2.5cm deep, it's especially handy for applications where there may be wiring or ducting routed behind the panels you wish to utilise for mounting.

Note: USB port is on a 30cm / 12" (approx.) lead coming of the back of the main tuner / amplifier unit. As you can see there are many connections but you don't have to use them all. This system has been made as flexible as possible so you can make your sound system as elaborate as you want.
