Telescope 03 - 04

Over time, the telescopic section of your aerial may wear our, resulting in either it not going up the whole way or poor radio reception. Also trees, vandalism or accidents may bend the telescope making it hard for it to retract properly. Virtually all Hirschmann telescopes are user replaceable. With only a spanner, you can remove the faulty telescope and fit a new one! Instructions are included with the telescopes on exactly how to do this for each particular model.

We supply the Type 03 to fit all vehicle using type 03 or 04. The only difference between the tow is the cord length. Simply cut about 8 cm off the bottom when replacing a Type 04 telescope. BE CAREFUL! It may be easier to cut smaller sections (a few cm) off the cord till it runs smoothly. It may also be easier to compare against the old cord.

Note that the Type 03 is fully chrome colour but it can also be used to replace versions in black or with black caps.
