Weather proof microphone for hostile environments such as outdoor applications, on board ships, rooms that are washed down daily, etc. high performance, durable electret element can withstand direct exposure to high pressure water and even submersion without affecting operation. Cast aluminium plate mounts on any flat surface or on a single gang 'bell box', gasket included.

All ETS microphones are optimised for the voice frequency band by trimming the preamplifier's high and low frequency response to 200Hz-16kHz. The result is higher intelligibility of the sound source and lower levels of background noise.
