High performance, omni-directional pre-amplified microphone for use in applications where vandalism is of concern. Electret element is mounted in a special housing which is out of reach to objects inserted into the sound holes. Built in limiter circuit automatically lowers the output level during loud sound intervals. Stainless steel plate mounts flush or on a single gang electrical box.

All ETS microphones are optimised for the voice frequency band by trimming the preamplifier's high and low frequency response to 200Hz-16kHz. The result is higher intelligibility of the sound source and lower levels of background noise.
