Many newer op-amps are now surface mount devices (SMD) but to upgrade them is not always possible with the desired IC due to configuration and mounting differences. This adapter will allow you to overcome many of these issues.

Features:

  • Adapts two SO-8 single channel op-amps to dual op-amp SO-8 footprint or adapts 8-pin DIP to SO-8 footprint.
  • 0.410" x 0.500" x 0.062" (10.41 mm x 12.7 mm x 1.575 mm) adapter board (base), FR-4 laminate, 1 oz. copper.
  • Vertical height above target board: 0.610" (15.5 mm).
  • 0.050" (1.27 mm) SO-8 SMT pin pitch.
  • Use as single-to-dual op-amp adapter - Dual SO-8 to single SO-8 or use as single DIP-8 to single SO-8 adapter.
