Aslan Acoustics Isis Isolation Platform

Aslan Acoustics has now released their new 'Isis' range of Acoustic Isolation Platforms. Each platform is manufactured from solid void-free birch timber and is high-pressure glue laminated in 3mm strips to ensure minimum transfer of resonances. Vertical lamination of the structure means that acoustic and weight transfer takes place along the end grain of the timber resulting in exceptional damping characteristics. The platform is fitted with CNC machined billet alloy spikes and furniture protection discs and is finished in a satin lacquer to accentuate the beauty of the woodgrain.

The Aslan Acoustics Isis isolation platforms are suitable for CD / SACD / DVD players, power, mono-block and integrated amplifiers (great for valve / tube systems), turntables and speakers - in fact every component in your system. There are 4 models in the range, in two sizes and two thicknesses, 40 and 75mm. The 75mm models offer double the resonance transfer attenuation of the smaller 40mm models and are better suited to systems on suspended flooring such as timber.
