Aslan Acoustics CW12

The Aslan CW12 has been developed to be used in either stereo systems to enhance the bass response where smaller speakers are being used or for use on home cinema system as the main subwoofer. Strong but controlled performance will complement your existing speakers or it can be matched up to other Aslan loudspeakers. Two can be used, one on each side for top-end performance.

The bass driver has a nominal diameter of 300mm and a Thiele-Small diameter of 255mm. It features a large rubber roll surround to allow cone excursion of 11mm, 300 watts RMS power handling capability and a 65mm voice coil. The driver is mounted in a sealed enclosure to ensure a gradual roll off in the bass region and a high damping factor. The box has been extensively braced and includes high-grade acoustic foam to minimise internal reflections. Cabinet wall thickness is 25mm on all faces. Finishes include black, Tasmanian oak, blackwood, beech, jarrah and cherry.
