Auric Hookup Wire 18 AWG

The standard Auricap lead wire is Auric hook up wire. Audience supplies this sensibly designed, down to earth, easy to work with, natural sounding hook up wire. Auric wire is made of soft high purity stranded copper; each strand individually polished. There are 30 strands in the 18 AWG. The insulation is high quality cross linked polyethylene. The cross linked polyethylene insulation resists shrinking when soldering and has excellent dielectric properties, close to Teflon without the drawbacks and it sounds excellent. Auric hook up wire is cryogenically treated. For loudspeaker hook up apply a mild twist to the + and – to minimise radiation, noise pick up and reduce inductance.
