Auric OHNO (mono crystalline) hook up wire is identical to the standard wire in every way, except that it is made of OHNO wire. The OHNO wire is far superior and is recommended, if budget permits, for signal and speaker hook up. Audience uses the OHNO 21 AWG wire exclusively throughout all audience components and loudspeakers and Aura-T capacitor leads (@ less than 1uF). The performance of Auric OHNO wire is very similar to that of Audience Au24 cables. The insulation is high quality cross linked polyethylene. The cross linked polyethylene insulation resists shrinking when soldering and has excellent dielectric properties, close to Teflon without the drawbacks and it sounds excellent. Auric hook up wire is cryogenically treated. For loudspeaker hook up apply a mild twist to the + and – to minimise radiation, noise pick up and reduce inductance. Auric OHNO Wire Specifications
