The Mazda Eunos 800 (now known as the Mazda Millenia) luxury sedan is fitted with an upgraded sound system which utilises Bose amplifiers and a Panasonic / Bose head-unit. The door speakers are built directly into moulded plastic housings along with the speakers (active speakers). These housings act as a specially tuned enclosure for the speaker and give very good bass response. Two subwoofers are also mounted on the rear parcel shelf to cover the low-end frequencies. The newer Millenia has had an audio system upgrade with nine speakers fitted and six-CD Changer!

We are able to provide service and repairs on several of these units, particularly when the amplifier fails. Often a noise is heard which sounds almost like a film projector along with a high pitched whine; or crackling sounds; or no sound at all! If you hear such noises, it is advisable to turn off the system immediately to avoid any possibility of further damage to the amplifier or the speakers.

We recommend that you see you nearest Mazda dealer to get the offending speaker module and have it sent to us for service. We provide a one year warranty on the Bose amplifier itself after a full repair and service.
