When it comes down to it, a component is only as good as the complete system allows. This is because if you only spend half the money you may find that the cabinet or crossover denies the Manger Sound Transducer the necessary precision and influences the end result. So we have taken every possible precaution to ensure that the development of the new version of the Zerobox 103 incorporates every conceivable influence to provide you with the best possible sound.

This is so much so that we have varied the thickness of the cabinet walls up to 38 mm in areas where longitudinal or transversal waves can cause the cabinet to resonate. By adding bracing inside the cabinet we have contributed to the overall strength and stability of the cabinet minimising interference. In addition we have selected and specifically manufactured materials for damping and further stabilising the inside of the cabinet walls. The Manger philosophy is to have a closed cabinet without a reflex port in the lower range which also avoids disturbing resonances.

The Manger crossovers have incredible detail and have separate high pass and low pass crossovers - the so called Zero-Ohm or transformer core coils and capacitors of the highest quality. All of this as well as cross talk attenuation which is a result of the layout of the coils.

The Manger Sound Transducer provides natural ambience, it is alive with deep, dry bass providing the listener with sound reproduction of the finest detail. Experience the greatness of Manger!
